OfficeMaker automation is for documents you produce more than once. Define the structure once, then create or update native Office files when new data arrives — on a schedule, from a web form, or from another application.

What automation adds

The interactive product creates a file from a brief. Automation reuses that generation as a playbook: the same styles, sections and logic, with different customer, deal or case data each run.

Signed-in organisations open Automation from the workspace. Runs can be scheduled, exposed as a public form URL, or called over HTTP.

Limitations

Automation, workflow and document-management modules are organisation features. They are not part of the public free MCP create surface. Administrators control who can publish scheduled or website entry points.

Can OfficeMaker automate recurring document creation?
Yes. Organisation automations can create or update Word, Excel and PowerPoint files on a schedule, from a web form, via API, or from other applications, reusing a fixed document pattern.
Is automation available on the free MCP server?
No. The public free MCP server is limited to schema-led create, preview, schema and gap analysis. Scheduled macros, website forms and the paid merge/edit verbs require an OfficeMaker organisation tenant.
